Why buy refurbished?
We often come across some excellent used sewing machines. mostly older semi-industrial types or vintage classics. Our servicing and sewing experience means that we can spot the good ones and service and refurbish them to bring out the best. If you're thinking about buying a machine that will tackle medium to heavy work and don't necessarily want ' all the fancy stitches' -maybe just straight and zigzag for bags, upholstery or curtains we usually have several that are worth a look. The older machines were usually made containing stronger parts which can sometimes be more easily replaced than a modern machine. The fact that they are still around bears this out. Most will sew regular fabrics effortlessly too. They are sturdy so definitely not 'sewing-class' machines that you carry around. We service and check them and offer a warranty too.
