We've just taken delivery of the new JUKI TL2300!
Its a semi-industrial that is designed to cope with those heavier jobs such as upholstery, bags and leather - but - is portable if you need to visit customers and can function perfectly well without being fitted into a heavy table with a big motor.
It’s also designed to take thicker threads that those heavier jobs require, with a pre-tension unit to keep the stitch formation perfect. However it will still cope with your normal, lighterweight projects, no problem. It is a straight-stitch only machine but being a ‘side-on’ bobbin will give you a beautiful stitch formation and a perfect topstitch. Having a high fixing point means there are a wealth of foot attachments and binders/ folders available too. If you have thicker work to sew it has a ‘float function’ that will keep the tensions correct even if the foot is higher.
